Comments From Greg Dolgopolov (Tutor)

“The opening sequence was strong, funny and well executed, and captured the audiences attention and established the genre efficiently. Technically this is much stronger than the previous iteration and you have selected locations that are largely compelling and engaging.”

Critical Overview

I was the producer of this film and the role opened my eyes up to the administrative tasks that were required from myself in order to keep the entire cast and crew operating on a tight schedule. I created call sheets, constantly communicated with all members of the cast and crew to ensure cohesion across the three shoot days, as well as was in contact with multiple local businesses to secure shoot locations.

The film itself underwent intense revisions following a single location shoot two weeks prior to the offical deadline, as producer I had to be able to make crucial decisions in a high pressure environment. I worked closely with the director to amp up the conflict and obstacles in the script, further I was running point on recasting both Vicky and the Bandit.

Overall it got over the line, however I believe the script could have been pushed further in terms of deeper characterisation and storyline.
